Understand of course, that this game just launched and to truly gauge how good or bad an MMO is you have to play several months in. So a huge monsoon blew threw last night. Just after my roommate and I happened to head out to get some grub. As we were getting ready to leave we noticed that the sky was constantly lit by lightning, it was non stop crack after crack. I have never been in a storm so bad. I couldn’t see past the hood of my car at some points. It was pitch black outside due to power going out for all of Tempe! Streets were flooded like mad! Had this been in Hemet, the city would have washed away. As we are heading back home(slowly), the storm starts to clear up. When we get up towards University the place started looking like a scene from a tornado movie(pick one). Whole trees uprooted and in the street, cars crushed, the streets were rivers. The normal route was blocked due to a powerline in the road, and some retard thought it would be a great idea to back up into me. Luckily my car is a beast and took no damage.
Anyways, we get back to the apartment to find no power. The rain had stopped and so had the wind. The lightning was still going off everywhere. We got back to find the apartment parking lot destroyed. The parking spot I had just left had been filled with the awning and a tree.

Basically for the last 3 weeks or so Seph and I have been working on a new gaming site. The title? Ironically it is called “REIGN2.” The Goal? To take everything we loved about Reign and add everything we ever wanted to do!

So… for 3 years now I have been part of a community known as Reign. We started as a WoW guild then the guild took a nosedive because WoW was getting boring. Some left the game but everyone still stayed part of the community. Now, before someone whines, yes, Shads post on the Dark Knight thread was the final nail. No, it was not the only nail. I have been contemplating this for several months now. Ask Mib, he knows, IVE TOLD HIM IN PERSON THAT I WAS GOING TO DO IT WHEN I LEFT THE COMMUNITY. Fuck Mozu, I’ve told you once or twice as well.
Anyways, lately the site has become cancer. Every thread that people attempt to start that isn’t WoW related is quickly lit ablaze by trolls and flamers. Frankly as an admin and someone who has put alot of work into making sure the users of that site are protected from spammers and also are provided a nice, easy to access forum I got pretty fed up with it fast. I try to incorporate phpBB3 or another forum solution in and I get trolled by the oldfags because it won’t be the same. I try to form up the guild in another game, ANY OTHER GAME, and the forum gets trolled to shit and I can’t get a single member.
So fuck you guys, I’m done. I won’t destory your site and your precious posts, but I won’t keep all the hard work that I put into it there for you.
